Welcome Rachel Maxwell!

We are delighted to welcome Rachel Maxwell
to our team of consultants! Rachel has a lifelong commitment to helping people use money to create real value in the world. Most recently she co-founded and led Community Sourced Capital, an innovative lending platform that helped people come together to form zero-interest loans for the small businesses they knew and loved. Named as one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Brilliant 100, you can read about her work with Community Sourced Capital here.

Her first foray into a Unitarian church was to hear her Godmother, Denny Davidoff, give a sermon in Seattle when she was running for Moderator of the UUA. Raised in Jewish household in a small New England town, Rachel became a Unitarian Universalist as a young mother and she’s been a member and a leader at her own UU congregation in the Pacific Northwest for more than twenty years. Over a 2-year period she helped her congregation increase it’s annual giving nearly 30%.

Rachel is also an experienced visioning facilitator and strategic advisor and holds an MBA in Sustainable Systems. Creating real value in people’s lives and communities is her passion – along with connecting communities in healthy relationships around money. She shares her thoughts and experiences in her TEDx, Creating Value Together.
