Stewardship for Us is pleased to announce upcoming collaborations with UUA Congregational Life staff hosted by the MidAmerica and Pacific Western Regions. These events will provide you with opportunities to explore and learn more about stewardship.
Regardless of your region, all of the events are open to you! They are intended for any Unitarian Universalist congregational leaders.
Two Webinars to help with your Annual Pledge Drives
In collaboration with the UUA Congregational Life Team and hosted by the MidAmerica region, we are jointly offering two national webinars to help you with your Annual Pledge Drive. These sessions aim to provide strategies and ideas for pledge drives during our challenging times.
Effective Pledge Drives: Connecting Online and Off – Saturday, February 6, 2 pm ET
Unitarian Universalist congregations are self-supporting and rely on the lifelong generosity of members and friends. What’s the same and what needs to change for successful pledge drives now and in the near future? How can your congregation stay engaged in stewardship and generosity through a blended on-site and virtual community?
Asking for Contributions in These Times – Saturday, February 13, 2 pm ET
What inspires generosity in our UU congregations now and always? How do your Stewardship team, board and other leaders play their respective roles in building generosity? What are the values and priorities driving members to support their congregations? How do you appeal across generations?
Each 90-minute session will be presented via Zoom, with opportunities for sharing and learning through your own experiences and questions.
Cost: $15.00 per session per participant. Please register before February 5th.
Generosity Labs
This 5-part Wednesday evening series engages congregations in creative conversations about pressing needs around generosity and stewardship, connect with each other to share best practices, and develop plans for taking their generosity ministry to the next level. This interactive series will engage stewardship through a lens of anti-racist generosity as a tool for dismantling White supremacist culture and building a sustainable future together.
Each 90 minute lab can be done independently and the full set dovetails one to the next.
