Money, Power & Meaning: Amplifying the Power of We
GA Spokane, Thursday, June 20, 3:00 to 4:00 pm, Rm 100A
Rachel Maxwell and Kay Crider will join with Jessica York, of the UUA’s Congregational Life to lead this session. We will explore: leveraging the power of “WE” in stewardship, managing the dynamics of money and power in our congregations, and incorporating social justice work in a mission centered budget.
This will be your chance to examine your own personal relationship to money and giving as well as how you and your congregation come together as a whole to make mission work manifest! Too often we separate the spiritual from the financial and ignore power dynamics inherent in financing our congregations. In this session, we hope to shine the light on how to keep our values and our money aligned.
Kay has more than 24 years of successful professional fundraising experience. She is passionate about helping organizations fund their mission through customized campaigns. Reach her at kay@stewardshipforus.com.
