Stewardship for Us is pleased to introduce Jeff Wilklow, the newest member of our team.

Jeff is based in Northern Virginia just outside of DC, and while new to Stewardship for Us he is a long-time UU with more than 20 years of fundraising consulting experience. He and his wife Sally are members of All Souls Church Unitarian in DC, where he recently co-chaired the $4M Hope Rises capital campaign and is currently the co-chair of the Stewardship Committee. Previously they were active members of the Accotink UU Church in Burke, VA, where Jeff served in a variety of leadership positions including Stewardship Chair and Board President.

As Vice President of Campbell & Company, a nationally renowned campaign consulting firm based in Chicago, Jeff worked with a wide variety of organizations to help them expand their fundraising capacity and to plan and launch successful campaigns. He has also held leadership positions in development with FeedMore, the Points of Light Foundation, Children’s Hospital Foundation, Very Special Arts and Special Olympics. In his volunteer life he has served as board chair for the ARC of Northern Virginia, the Association of Fundraising Professionals in DC and Cloverleaf Equine Center, where he led a $4M capital campaign. He excels in helping organizations articulate a compelling case for support, meaningfully engage their members and donors, and provide the enthusiastic leadership needed to drive through the speed bumps to reach their goals.

Jeff has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from Union College in Schenectady, NY.

From Jeff:

I consider myself an “evangelical UU” and I am committed to strengthening and growing our congregations to spread the word and open wide our doors to this liberal faith tradition whose loving and affirming message is more desperately needed than ever.

It is such a privilege to be welcomed into this group of passionate and dedicated professionals working to grow and sustain the UU movement across the country. Stewardship is a ministry where we commit ourselves to providing the support needed to sustain and grow our congregational communities, and it is among the most important things we do together. I draw so much energy and inspiration from the generous individuals who are investing themselves so fully in reinforcing their church community.
